Art Nouveau atmospheres in the Hotel Bristol Palace Suites
Lifestyle
The Bristol Palace Hotel in Genoa conserves intact all the charm of Art Nouveau, the architectural style in vogue when it was built, in 1905. Inside the palazzo, especially in the rooms, the atmospheres of the time are supplemented by modern comforts, as manager Giovanni Ferrando reveals in this interview with journalist Savina Confaloni. At the Bristol one travels through time, reliving the era in which European high society organised its most memorable partiers and dinners here. The parquet, the floors and the marbles were renovated recently with respect for the hotel’s history and originality. Every room has unique characteristics, furnishings included, and every suite, decorated from a colour palette of its own, features a spacious drawing room with an independent entrance to ensure maximum privacy.
