A corner of our hotel
The Bristol Palace, a treasure trove of art and history with lots of stories to tell, offers guests an immersive experience in the heart of Genoa. All this is possible thanks to the hotel’s strong ties with the local area and collaboration with the most important national and international partners. Today we discover how the Bristol works with a great many associations and bodies to set its sights on ever higher quality targets.
Together we go further: memberships
Over the years, this 5-star hotel has joined a number of bodies and associations that stand out for their constant pursuit of quality: like exclusive clubs, they reward care for guests and the ability to build experiences around their needs.
As the location for high-profile business events, the Bristol, is a member of Meeting e Congressi, the most authoritative and respected news medium for the Italian meeting and incentive industry. It has also signed an agreement with ViaMichelin, one of the navigation apps most used by motorists.
On entering the Bristol, one is struck by the style of the art nouveau palazzo in which it is located. Opened in 1905, it has always provided the setting for high society parties, hosting Italian and foreign intellectuals and artists, from Pirandello to Dickens, from Rudolf Nureyev to Uto Ughi, not to mention a young Alfred Hitchcock, who seems to have been inspired by the hotel’s monumental staircase to make Vertigo. This is why the palazzo is a member of Locali Storici d’Italia, (Historical Places of Italy), an association sponsored by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities that brings together historical palaces, hotels and other buildings that preserve the memory of the past.
Italian and international partners with the same vision
Staying at the Bristol is to immerse oneself in the history and culture of the city, and thanks to the characteristics of the palazzo in which it is housed, the Hotel is member of Historic Hotels Then and Now, the international historical buildings network. The Hotel also boasts an extensive network of partnerships and collaborations that is growing every year with new contacts and initiatives.
The Bristol is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resort, one of the most important independent luxury hotel brands in the world, and takes part in the initiatives of Convention Bureau Genova, which promotes congress and events tourism. Another of its partnerships is the one with National Geographic, the favourite magazine of international travellers and globetrotters.
The Hotel is situated on downtown Via XX Settembre, a stone’s throw from Palazzo Ducale and Piazza de Ferrari, and the most important museums and palaces. Not to mention teatro Carlo Felice: the major opera theatre with which it has collaborated for years as a token of its active participation in the cultural life of a city as dynamic as Genoa.
Last but not least, Bristol speaks about itself to a wider audience through its partnership with Avrvm, the bilingual magazine (English and Russian) dedicated to the finest expressions of Italian life.
