Paganini Rockstar exhibition

Paganini and rockstar are two daring words to put together. However, in the rooms of Palazzo Ducale we want to tell the art of the great Genoese violinist observed from today's musical perspective, a today also forged by the sounds and genius of an Afro-American guitarist from Seattle, Jimi Hendrix.

 

It was the power of their aura we could say. The wonder aroused by the virtuosity of Paganini, so extreme, new, disruptive is equal to the amazement of the audience of the Hendrix Experience proposed in the late sixties: a determining experience for the future of rock.
