Giorgio De Chirico, the face of Metaphysics

In Genoa, in the splendid setting of Palazzo Ducale, "Giorgio de Chirico. The face of the Metaphysics", curated by Victoria Noel-Johnson, is on display.

After 25 years from the last exhibition in Genoa dedicated to de Chirico, this exhibition has the precise aim of deepening the philosophical soul in the painter's works, placing the accent on the metaphysical component of his paintings.

The exhibition offers as many as 100 works created throughout the life of de Chirico, influenced in his way of thinking by Nietzsche, and in fact in de Chirico's works we can see this turning of his gaze beyond reality, beyond the canvas, beyond the physics.
