Marcante Award – UISP Diving
The 22nd edition of the “Marcante Award”, organized by UISP Diving, will be presented on February 19 in Genoa at the “Galata Sea Museum”, a short distance from the Hotel Bristol Palace. The award is given to individuals who have distinguished themselves in promoting safety in diving and in safeguarding human life in the water.
Over the years, awards have been given to divers, associations, state authorities, journalists, doctors, and various professionals in the field. The award ceremony will be preceded by the exhibition “The History of the Christ of the Abyss”, running from February 8 to 21, while at 4:00 p.m. on February 19 a conference titled “Generations Compared” will take place, featuring contributions from Stefano Carletti, Ninni Ravazza, Andrea Murdock Alpini, and Franco Martini, and moderated by Alberto Balbi.
