The route is divided into three main sections:
The 40 main tanks, which recreate underwater environments from around the world.
The Cetacean Pavilion, designed by Renzo Piano, featuring open-air tanks and viewing points on two levels.
The Biodiversity Pavilion, housed on the Nave Italia, dedicated to the Mediterranean, the tropics and Madagascar, with a large touch pool and a tropical lagoon.

Exclusive experiences: "Open the Aquarium with Us"

Among the most fascinating offerings of the Aquarium is the ‘Open the Aquarium with Us’ experience, designed for both adults and children. At dawn, before the opening to the public, visitors can go behind the scenes, observe the daily work of the aquarists, watch food preparation, and discover up close the animals’ habits in an intimate and privileged atmosphere.
