The route is divided into three main sections:
The 40 main tanks, which recreate underwater environments from around the world.
The Cetacean Pavilion, designed by Renzo Piano, featuring open-air tanks and viewing points on two levels.
The Biodiversity Pavilion, housed on the Nave Italia, dedicated to the Mediterranean, the tropics and Madagascar, with a large touch pool and a tropical lagoon.

Among the Aquarium of Genoa’s most fascinating experiences is "The Expert with You", designed for adults and children alike.
During an exclusive two-hour tour, a dedicated guide accompanies families and groups of friends on an immersive journey to discover marine biodiversity, curiosities about the facility and the animals it hosts, with reserved access to technical and aquarium areas not accessible to the public.
