Duetorrihotels listed in the prestigious “100 Italian Excellences” Guide by Forbes

New success for the leading hospitality group: its four properties in Verona, Bologna, Florence, and Genoa have been featured in a publication by So Wine So Food, in collaboration with Forbes Italia. Cultural and historical heritage, distinctive personality, and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability are the key factors that have allowed these hotels to stand out among the excellences of Made in Italy.

All four flagship properties of the Duetorrihotels Group have been included in the first edition of the guide “100 Italian Excellence”, curated by So Wine So Food, an international food and wine publication, in collaboration with Forbes Italia.

An important recognition for four properties set within a unique context: the Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni in Bologna, the Due Torri Hotel in Verona, the Bernini Palace Hotel in Florence, and the Bristol Palace Hotel in Genoa are all housed in historic buildings that enhance the cultural and artistic heritage of some of Italy’s most beautiful art cities. All are located in the very heart of their cities and are distinguished by an exceptional attention to luxury detail, reflected in the quality of hospitality, interior design, furnishings, and services.

“It’s a great satisfaction to be mentioned in the 100 Italian Excellences collection” said Mr. Franco Vanetti, Duetorrihotels Managing Director “ behind this success are our people and their efforts to meet every single Guest expectation, always enhancing each hotel identity and peculiarity”.  Our properties have different personalities, enriched by the strong connections to their local territories, cultures and histories”.

From this attention comes the outstanding reputation of the group’s hotels, as described in the guide. The Due Torri Hotel in Verona is highlighted not only for its history and furnishings—above all the Arena Casarini—but also for its widespread eco-sustainable vision and commitment to environmental protection practices. The Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni is described as embodying what Bologna is known for, bringing together classical, futurist, and contemporary art within its spaces, both in painting and architecture. The Bernini Palace Hotel tells the story of Florence from 1550 to the present day: in the Sala Parlamento—today’s breakfast room—Garibaldi, Cavour, and other major figures of the Italian Risorgimento once gathered, during the period when Florence was the capital of the Kingdom of Italy. Meanwhile, the Bristol Palace Hotel, an elegant Liberty-style building, stands out for its spectacular marble staircase, which is said to have inspired Hitchcock’s Vertigo. It captures the essence of Genoa itself: openness, movement, and a constant drive toward innovation.
