Welcome Home

Welcome to our blog, where one may find the spirit of the Bristol Palace, a symbol of Genoa’s hospitality, and the most interesting stories that took place in its walls. And, of course, one may experience Genoa: its noble palaces, the narrow allies of the historic center, the many treasures hidden in its Medieval churches and, last but not least, the Mediterranean Sea.

Hotel

Everyone coming in our hotel has always been travelling fully, enjoying sensations, discovering typical recipes, living the city entirely”, explains General Manager Giovanni Ferrando, “and we wish to keep it that way, awaiting the more positive times in which the hotel will be full again. Always guided by curiosity, our guests wish to learn about new and undiscovered aspects of the hotel itself and of Genoa

You will open the digital doors of the hotel and its history: admiring the Liberty winter garden and the grand elliptical staircase in white marble, pure Art Nouveau style, that suggested to genius Alfred Hitchcock the dizzying scene of the movie “Vertigo”.

You will meet up with famous guests ranging from Pirandello to Prince Albert II of Monaco, and you will encounter royalty, head of states, noble prizes, famous artists attending the hotel and its legendary parties. You will discover that the Bristol Palace has continued its active engagement in the daily activities taking place in a dynamic city such as Genoa.

And you will get to know every corner of Genoa: the central Rolli Palaces, just a few steps away from the hotel and UNESCO heritage; the narrow web of cobbled alleys that make up the old town; the food markets; the Aquarium, one of the biggest and most modern in Europe, projected by archistar Renzo Piano; and the Lantern, the symbol of Genoa. A priceless heritage, which you will acquire little by little, one article at a time.

Let the voyage begin.
