The awarding of the fifth star to the Bristol Palace Hotel presents an opportunity to celebrate together with the people of Genoa and tourists, offering a moment of sharing and fun for the entire community.

Join us on September 19th at 6:30 p.m. in the central Piazza De Ferrari, the heart of the city, where the historic Orchestra Filarmonica Sestrese will perform a concert open to all citizens. During this event, Giovanni Ferrando, the Director of Bristol Palace, will officially receive a five-star plaque from Giovanni Toti, the President of the Liguria Region. The evening will be hosted by Franco Nativo, who will introduce the guests and share the history of the hotel.

The Concert

Under the direction of Maestro Matteo Bariani, the orchestra will present a diverse program that spans various genres and styles, including classical and operatic music, original compositions, soundtracks, pop, and jazz. Established in 1845, the Filarmonica Sestrese is a symbol of Genoa and has been the "voice" of the city since the Risorgimento era. On an occasion like this, it is only fitting to have an ensemble that has been an integral part of the city's history for nearly 180 years, representing Genoa on international stages and sharing its unique cultural heritage with the world.
