The awarding of the fifth star to the Bristol Palace Hotel becomes an opportunity to celebrate together with Genoese and tourists, offering a moment of sharing and fun to the entire citizenry.

The concert

Conducted by Maestro Matteo Bariani, the orchestra offers a program that crosses genres and styles, ranging from classical and operatic music to original band pieces, from soundtracks to pop and jazz music. Founded in 1845, the Filarmonica Sestrese is a symbol of Genoa, the "voice" of the city since the Risorgimento era: on an occasion such as this, it could not miss a ensemble that has been accompanying the highlights of the city's history for nearly 180 years, traveling to international theaters to bring Genoveseness to the world.

Tuesday, Sept. 19 - 6:30 p.m.

Appointment on September 19, at 6:30 pm. It will be the central Piazza De Ferrari, the heart of the city, that will host the concert of the historic Orchestra Filarmonica Sestrese, open to all citizens. At the same time, Bristol Palace director Giovanni Ferrando will be officially presented with a five-star plaque by Giovanni Toti, President of the Region of Liguria. The evening will be presented by Franco Nativo, who will introduce the guests and tell the history of the hotel.
